Sustainability

Founded by Finmeccanica SpA, the Commune of Genoa, the Genoa Provincial Authorities and the Liguria Regional Authorities, the Foundation is an organisation dedicated to cultural development, business and labour. 

In the conviction that cultural progress and economic growth can work in synergy, contributing to an increase in company competitivity and, at the same time, in the quality of life within the community, the Ansaldo Foundation is ideally positioned between the world of culture and that of business; a role that can only be taken on and developed when it is based on partnership with, approval by and involvement of social bodies.

Thanks to the support given by individuals of significant institutional or economic importance, such as the Italian Ministry for Culture, Genoa University, Genoa Chamber of Commerce, Confindustria Genoa, the Carige Foundation and the Compagnia di S. Paolo, the Foundation promotes research, cultural initiatives and events, together with high level training activities, and is involved in increasing and enhancing the documentary and archival heritage produced by businesses and by other economic figures.
