Its primary roles are: Vessel Search, Identification and Surveillance, Maritime and Coastal Surveillance, Search and Rescue (SAR), Pollution Detection. Secondary roles such as: Troop/Paratroop transport, Medical evacuation, Passenger transport, Cargo transport. 

Based on a platform proven by over 670 ATR aircraft sold world-wide and equipped with the latest ATOS Mission Management System developed by Galileo Avionic. Already in service with Italian Customs Police and Coast Guard.
