Fourth day at the Paris Air Show

The fourth day of the Show kicked off with a visit from General Abrate, Chief of Defence Staff. Accompanied by Mr. Orsi, C.E.O. and Mr. Guarguaglini, Chairman of the Finmeccanica Group , he visited the stand and the static area where he had the chance to see the gems of the Group Companies’ production.

The aeronautic sector is represented in the area by the C-27J and the SKY-Y  produced by Alenia Aeronautica, the ATR 42MP, M-311 and M-346 manufactured by  Alenia Aermacchi. AgustaWestland has brought the best of its technology to the show: AW139, AW149, AW159, the GrandNew and the latest addition to the company’s range the AW189, presented at the show on Monday. As far as the defence and security electronics sector is concerned DRS Technologies is displaying its very new UAS (Unmanned Aerial System) Neptune and Sentry in the area; SELEX Galileo is showing off the  Falco Evo. SELEX Sistemi Integrati is exhibiting  the MOVIT, the G33 Antenna, the Lyra and the FlexMIS.

The day continued as usual with the visit of a large number of Italian and International Delegations including those from European Delegation, New Zealand , Israel and Malaysia.
