The context within which we work

Immagine:

Our world is changing rapidly, becoming increasingly complex and interconnected. We find ourselves facing global challenges and emergencies, above all of an environmental and social type, that can only be solved through the collective efforts of an extremely wide-ranging network of figures. International bodies and national governments have to deal on a day-to-day basis with a global system of rules and regulations that are frequently unsuited to face these continual changes, yet have to provide an efficient response to the expectations of an increasingly sensitive and informed community. In this context, businesses, and in particular transnational ones, are required more and more frequently to help face up to these challenges, at the various levels on which they operate.

Here at Finmeccanica we feel it our duty to do what we can, in a responsible way, to encourage a continuous transition towards more sustainable scenarios.

The sectors we work in are, for various reasons, also undergoing a radical evolution. The market no longer wants just simple products, but answers to complex development needs, that are only possible using  integrated systems and solutions. Offering “security” means responding to these needs, which are both local and collective at the same time. On our part, this involves a radical rethinking of our role and our way of operating, so that we will be ready to assist our clients to make full use of the product throughout the whole of its life.

The combined effect of these macro trends has great significance for us. We are aware of the fact that to continue growing in size and excellence we must constantly adapt our way of thinking and acting. Accept new challenges and responsibilities. Respond to continually evolving situations. Open channels of discussion with new figures that have legitimate expectations. And be ready to listen to them.
